Legal Question in Family Law in India

Recovery of ' Stree Dhan' properties U/S 498 A.

I filed a case u/s 498 A against my husband and recovery of my ''stree dhan'' properties given to me during my

marriage. Police went there with search warant but returned back as their house is locked . Latter the accused deposited some items in local P.S through a person. But the police or I.O has not informed me about this.

Now the police filed the charge sheet against the accused in the court and advised me to file

a petition in the court to take my items. As per I filed a petition in the court , but the court asked me to deposit a bond of thirty thousand rupees to take my items. Now the question is why I deposited a bond of such huge amounts to

take my own items ? Wheather I am able to used these items after taking it in bond ? Also as

the accused has not returned the total items to the police , wheather I am able to file a petition to search & recover the rest of the items ?

Petition may be filed for reinvestigation. Bond is required to be submitted for obtaining goods on Custody. These goods may be required to be reproduced, if so required by the Court.

Yes, you may file a 'protest petition' against investigation report demanding for 're-investigation' of the case. It appears that the police is trying to help your husband. You need to be a little more careful in pursuing your case.
