Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am related to my friends family (she her husband and a girl ) since 7 years, she is having a girl child aged 4 years . My friend husband is ill behaving and she suffers from mental agony and domestic violence mostly.She is insecure about her child's future and is asking me to adopt her child legally . Is it possible. Plz guide in this matter.

Both the parents have to give there child to you in adoption and you have to be 21 year older in age from the child and you should not have a biological chilf of your own at the time of adoption.
