Legal Question in Family Law in India

Respected Lawyer,

My wife is a mental patient (Schizophrenia). She had left my house in Nov 2011 with rubbish reasons. Her mental condition went from bad to worse during her stay with my Father in Law. Currently she is in a rehabilitation center sine March 2012 in Pune after much efforts taken by me and some of her relatives incl bro in law and father in law.

We have a 3 years old male child whom she had taken with her during her stay at my in laws. As my wife is away, I had gone to my inlaws to take my child back but my father in law refused. Father in law is a heavy drunkard, without job and physically abuses me whenever I go there. My child is getting weaker and is not so happy with them under these circumstances. I need immediate posession of my son as I cant risk his valuable life. I am thinking of forcefully taking posession using my friends support without any violence. How can I best protect my child and myself under these conditions before & after I take forcefull posession of my child. Please advise . This is urgent.

This is such a serious situation in your life and you are stuck in this forum to get free answers . I would suggest engage a lawyer who would guide you and get you the custody of your l child.Even if i give you my legal opinion free of cost ,you would be required to engage a local lawyer to do the need ful. Why are you wasting your time or are you a penny wise and pound foolish ? Please clarify.
