Respected Sir,

Sub-Maintenance Allowance to Wife after Divorce by Mutual Consent
In case of divorce by mutual consent if the girl is a working lady whether it is mandatory for the boy to pay maintenance allowance to his wife and if so to pay at what rate.Also whether this maintenance charge has to be paid on monthly basis OR has to be compulsorily paid on one time lump sum (alimony)basis.

it depends upon various factors viz. the difference in earning of both, the husband and wife. difference in assets and liabilities etc.

it depends upon various factors viz. the difference in earning of both, the husband and wife. difference in assets and liabilities etc. But if it is a divorce by mutual consent, you need to settle the maintenance and permanent alimony at the time of executing the settlement agreement. court would order as per your settlement.

Both of you have to decide the consent terms if divorce is by mutual consent. So if the wife says she doesn't want maintenance, even without any maintenance or alimony divorce by mutual consent will be granted by the court.
