Legal Question in Family Law in India
Respected Sirs,
I am living with my parents for the last 1.6 years. My husband and in-laws and sis-inlaw tortured me , asked for dowry, car etc and wud not let me cohabit with my husband. I lodged a complaint with Women cell Nanakpura, the mediation failed. My husband produced an admittance list of Stridhan which was incomplete. An FIR was registered this year-Aug 2009, the case has been sent to Dwarka court and proceedings r on. Previously my hubby refused to return my stridhan, dowry articles that r lying at their place as I came bk empty handed-without clothes, furniture, electronic items on 27/3/09. My case is being fought by a pvt lawyer and women cell IO is also representing my case. The judge today instructed the lawyer of respondents to give my stuff bk. My hubby is supposed to return my stuff on this Friday in Nanakpura women cell.My hubby and in-laws hv got interim bail. If they do not give my entire stuff and stridhan then shud I accept the stuff which is being handed over to me and dispute the balance articles? Will my case become weak if I accept only a part of Stridhan. I am dead sure that they do not want to return my entire belongings. Can I request the IO on Friday to issue arrest warrants if they do not give my complete stridhan. I do not want divorce. On what grounds can my hubby, in-laws be arrested and their bail cancelled. My husband is hell bent to take a divorce and is playing with the legal system. I have also filed DVA 2 months bk and the 2nd hearing is on 22/9. Husband had filed a divorce case in Tis hazari. I have also filed a case of maintenance. I am working and earning 30k. How can I get together with my hubby. Is there any law to teach my greedy in-laws a lesson. I am married for 3.5 years and want a quick resoultion. Please advise i am frustrated to the core. Pls answer all questions.

you can accept but dont sign on the copy of accepted goods as full and final goods. write over there that such and such things are still pending to be recovered.
Police cannot arrest till bail orders but on the point of recovery your lawyer can cancel his bail.
