Legal Question in Family Law in India

Respected Sirs/Mams,

My name is pranavi. I got married on Dec 17th,1999 at the age of 19, ever since then I have been having issues with my husband, he has troubled me emotionally and harassed me always, later, when while pursuing my graduation in the year 2003-2004 he got a chance to go to vietnam,

and since then he has been behaving more cruelly with me. He always used to blame on my character and always harrass me mentally , insulting my parents and my sisters also many times. All this while I had no happiness with him, I have been struggling that he will be fine one day and keep up the bond and so never ever thought of divorce.

But recently, I came to know that he had an extra marital relation with a vietname woman and also has a child from her, the child is now 4-5 years old. He has been acting as a saint all this while hiding this fact from me and not even taking me to abroad even after I got the marriage certificate and passport. Recently, I found one proof which says that he took that lady to qatar as his wife and the child as his daughter on visit visa.

How can this be possible when his wife's name is mine and not that other person? He being my relative we had a soft feeling for him so far, but ever since we heard of this, we were shocked, am so sad that i had to spoil my career and also precious life for him.

I want some advice. I am not able to spend more money also now. How can I find out if he has taken someone else on my name to qatar?

please do help me.

thanks

pranavi

you should visit visa office and from there you can get the information. if possible then RTI can be moved.

by a simple email to the embassy you may seek the details of qatar visa, the applicant and the accompanying applicant details etc. did you register your marriage? or what proof of marriage you have.
