Legal Question in Family Law in India
Respected sir,
we are living in kerala. My question is that my brother got divorced because it was difficult for them to go on with each other . he has a girl child also. when his wife charged a criminal case against our parents in the district court, she told the court that her ornaments were in our custody. but there was no evidence. she wanted 6 lakh Rupees in 2009 and the court approved it.how can the court do that without evidence? But my brother has no property of his own. we gave a petition to the high court but at that time our lawyer forced my father to take the resposibility of paying that amount from his property. Now my father and mother have passed away . our other brothers are making houses in our fathers's land. now in 2010 the court has ordered to pay the amount from our father's land. the property is still in our father's name and we have the right to inherit it. What can we do?
we already paid 150000/-Rupees for her living and give 3000/- Rupees for his child per month. please give me a good advice other wise we will lose our land including our brothers' houses.

Your right of inheritance is controlled by your deceased father's legal liabilities, if any.
