Legal Question in Family Law in India
I am respondent in a case u/s 125crpc.I have applied u/s 242,311 crpc to cross examine, and summon up some of the witness presented by applicant to find out truth,before final decision on 125.The opposite counsel argued that these sections under which I have applied/requested the court to find out truth applies only to prosecution cases.I have produced some recently acquired documents in court to be taken on record which prove that applicant is misguiding the court from very beginning.
kindly let me know are sec 242,311 crpc not applicable in cases u/s 125 crpc.
