Legal Question in Family Law in India

Rgearding mediation in court

HI,

I am fighting a legal battle of divorce and my hubby has refused to take me back..we have had 3 hearing and everytime he has refused for a conciliation...on what grounds can our case go into the mediation. My counsel has already requested the Judge once for mediation my next date is on 6-feb in tis hazari. There is case pending in women cell also as my hubby refused to take me back..I have not filed a case of DVA or FIR because this can worsen the situation and the root cause of my troubles is my mom in-law? please advise

If you are serious of taking divorce don't think about things worsening but if you don't want divorce try to compromise and settle the matter out of court.

Re: Rgearding mediation in court

your lawyer can request the court for sending the matter for mediation. are there any kids involved? in case your husband also realize that the root cause of problem is his mother, is there any possibility of staying together?

Re: Rgearding mediation in court

You may request for sending the case to mediation center; however, your best remedy may be FIR/DVA action.
