on the date of filing an maintenance application if she has no means or income to support her even though she has resigned job can she get the maintanence.

Wife has right to get maintenance even she is having job, if her earing are not sufficient to maintain herself. In the present case by the date of filing the maintenance Petition she is not working, hence she can sue for maintenance.

if the wife is not working at the time of filing for maintenance yes definately she can file for maintenance

She will get the maintenance if she prove on record that she has no source of her income. The law also says that wife has a right to lead her life according to the status of her husband
