Legal Question in Family Law in India

i have separated from my husband three yrs back..n now am living alone with my 5 yr old son..my husband was never bothered about our son n am raising him alone all by myslf...my son will go to class one nxt year...and i dont want to give my husbands name to my son and i dont want his name in my sons certificates...is it possible????

though it is possible, but, for child it may not be good to deprive him like that. It will be far more better to give the name and when the child has grown up you may explain. I have practically seen the stigma child goes through but would not tell any one. So, please do not surface your inter se dispute on child mind. What ever come ipso facto, that is different.
