What is the separation period in India for Divorce purpose. How it is calculated and established in the court?

the couple must be staying separately for one year before filing a divorce by mutual consent.

One year is the mandatory period of living separately but you can file divorce much before as well, by showing some urgency by moving an application u/s14 of HMA.

after one year you can file the divorce. about proof, that left upon your advocate, he will proof himself.
