Legal Question in Family Law in India

Settlement claim in mutual consent divorce

In Mutual Consent Divorce, I know there is a clause for settlement. My husband is in US. I am currently in India. I left him recently. I know, I need to live separately for a year before claiming Divorce. Will one year of his salary be too much to ask for a one time settlement, because I quit my job and moved in with him as a dependent on H4 when we got married? We have been married for a year now. So will that amount be too much to claim? what will be the right amount to claim for a one time settlement?
