Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi, I have signed for mutual divorce on 28 june ..will i get divorce decree on 28 dec or on completion of 180 days? I am from India delhi. I am living separately for the last 3.8 yrs is there a way to get early divorce. the alimony has been split in 3 parts, i have rec one installment, the second will be during the final divorce day and the third at the time of quashing of FIR. Can my husband object of i need early divorce and can it affect the terms of installments?

the divorce would be granted only after six months after the latest judgment of supreme court.

Dear client

Mutual divorce takes minimum of 6 months.After 6 months make sure that both the parties present in the court. Otherwise the case will linger.There is no other way to get divorce. After 6 month, on the next date any of you can give an application for the withdrawal of the petition.For more you can contact me.

The minimum period to get Divorce is 6 months from the 1st motion under the mutual consent divorce. You have to wait till the completion of 6 months to file a 2nd motion and subsequently get the decree of divorce.
