Hi Sir,
498A case was registered and I have received 60% of my stridhan, the jewellery is still with in-laws. I do not want a divorce had to file a DVA case also as husband had filed divorce petition and the proceeding r on. IN 498a case the judge has sent my case for a mediation the lawyer of husband is adamant for a divorce..what will happen if the boy and his lawyer remain adamant for divorce..regards

even in case the lawyer and his client are adamant on divorce, the mediator cannot compel you to divorce him and you can refuse the mediation on the grounds of divorce and request the mediator to convince your husband for a patch up. in case nothing is done, you may revert back to your case.
mr.gupta is right u can also file a case under DVA act and demand to live alongwith your husband.
They cannot force upon you the divorce against your consent. You may pursue your legal remedies and continue with your complaint.
