sir i am an adopted child of my parents without any legal documents and adopted from a relative few years after my birth and now i awnt to apply for passport they want dob certificate but it has different father's name..

better ask your natural parents to get an adoption deed executed along with adoptive parents otherwise you would suffer in future. once adoption deed is done and registered, you may use that instead of a birth certificate.
