Hi,
Sir i have done a compromise with my wife in women cell punjab and in which i have mention that there is no smell of dowary in our case.SIr after that i took a home in mumbai and i called her but she is nt ready to come and she took all her and baby belongings from my rented house. I have inform the whole incident to SSP Khanna punjab and Women cell Incharge Khanna Punjab. But today i receive court order from vashi ( Mumbai) in section 125 saying my wife need half of my sal for her survival. I calling her but she is not cming and upon if that she has appela to court. Can you please let me know how should i go ahead for the same.

You are confused with the two issues - dowry and maintenance; Assuming you have returned her dowry, she is still entitled to maintenance. You should try for an amicable out of court settlement.

in case she is asking for maintenance, you need to provide her with the maintenance for herself and her child. before the court passes any adverse order against you, you better hire a lawyer and file reply.
