Legal Question in Family Law in India

sir ..my father has 4 brothers. my father has purchased plot in 1999, when my uncles & my father doing family business. now we all are divided. now the price of that plot is reached high.

so my other uncles want share in this plot.

that plot is on my fathers name only. whether they have right to ask share in that plot. what will happen if they go in court. pls guide me.

if the plot is in the name of father then defenitly his is sole and your uncle has no right

If the plot is in your fathers name then in that case your father alone is the absolute owner of the flat. Your uncles cannot do anything legally . As i have informed earlier that the source of funds to buy property has no value now . Please check my answers in real estate , probate category to get enlightened about your rights etc .with regard to properties...

dear client...

As the plot is surely on ur fathers name then you father is the sole owner of the said property just all he need to proof that the plot was purchased by his saving and earnings and not from family business.
