Legal Question in Family Law in India

sir i filed dvc against my husband but till now he didnt file any counter aganist me even after two chances . first time he has given 15 days after he has given 3 weeks but he is asking for time .i colnt able to understand wat he want to do pls help me sir that wat he can do if he asks time like this is it benefcial to him any way ? my lawyer is not telling any thing help me .please .
