sir i have a flat, registered on joint name of me n wife, altho all the EMIs are being paid by me only, so during divorce, what is her share? as these days that flat costs 40 lacs. and purchased at 19 lacs. wat is her legal right on that joint registered flat? haw can i save my flat from maintnnce?

She is a 50 % partner in that flat.

The court may decide the property issue at the time of deciding divorce petition. The fact that she is owner of half share may be given due consideration by the court at the appropriate stage.
