Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi Sir,

Last two and half year ago 2008 I had arranged marriage. After one month due to some reason she went to her home and never come. I had tried to come back her many time but parent did not allow her and she also did not want to come. Now I have heard from my some reletive that she have married without divorce from me and living her second husband. I have also filed case to come back her in starting when she was went to her parents home before 2 years ago and I contacted to my lawyer and he told that till any solid victim or marriage certificate would not getting, he could not do any thing. I want to know that is this correct? In starting when I told he to search marriage certificate in court, he was told once that he got her marriage certificate and after some time he is saying it was any another person. I think he is telling lie because my father in low is a rich man and he is buying him. Now I want to hire another lawyer. Can I receive all file from him that I was filed before it?

Please help me, what I do? I am really upset.

Yes, you can ask for all the files from him. Your wife can't marry without divorcing you. If this is the case you can file a case of bigamy. You are not in any adverse situation. You need good guidance only.
