Sir my husband had fletched my jewels in pawn broker shop in banglore when we were residing there, now im in chennai, we are separated but neither of them yet applied for divorce, i went to banglore and lodged a complaint agaisnst my husband tat he has taken my jewels and got the sign from the pawn broker and local station, the pawn broker asking me to get court order, under wha section should i apply in court and were should i apply in chennai or banglore?

the jewelry being your stridhan, your husband cannot deposit the same as security. you may file a complaint under domestic violence act and seek court directions directing the jeweler to return your stridhan.
