Legal Question in Family Law in India

sir my husnband give me one part of alimony in first motion and now in may 15 second motion . but he said he have no money at present and want time to arrange as in law 18 months time period is there . what can i do .

or i have to wait for another one year for balance payment and divorce

pls suggest me

as we agreed to mcd in women cell and no fir is written and no bail is there.

The legislatures have given 6 to 18 months to finalize both 1st and 2nd motion in mutual consent divorce. Your husband is well within his rights to have 2nd motion with in 18 months. You cant do anything in this respect.
