Sir, have lodged complaint against husband u/s.498A. mother in law is on anticipation bail on her medical grounds, husband out of india. case filed in Nov 2010. still no news from them, i have not filed maintenance case as im not asking for divorce, infact mother in law insisting her son to ask, because im from poor family. now they have filed interim stay petition to quash all proceedings/investigations to proceed in hyderabad high court. what does this mean.

You dont have to go for Divorce to file for maintenance and residence, Dont loose this opportunity of getting maintenance etc from your husband . File a petition under the Domestic Violence Act for the same.What is the status of your Husband ? Is he on bail too ? Why dont you put pressure on your inlaws to get your husband appear before the Criminal Court. This would help you alot in your maintenance etc case against them.
