Legal Question in Family Law in India
Sir, I am from Ludhiana. My marriage is one year old. I have four months old female baby. I am a working woman. After two months' of the marriage I am being mentaly harassed by husbands' family members ( mother & father-in laws, sister-in-law) including husband. So within one year I stayed at parents home. I was pregnant during this period so I stayed four months at my parents home to avoid tension. After delivery my husband took me to my matrimonial home from hospital. But my in-laws,sis-in-law again started to harass. After two months my husband left me at my parents home for some day. after some days my husband & in-laws told me to come back but I refused till the solution of harassment are being done. After some days my husband with his parents along with their relatives came to my parents home where I was staying started hungama and threatened me to come with them. When I objected at their behaviour and language they all using they forced me to write down for divorce. I again declined. At that time my father was not at home. The neighbors gathered at my parents home and they objected at their attitude. Then they all went. I did not make complaint anywhere. Now my husband has filed a petition under section 9 HMA for RCR. I am not willing to stay at matrimonial home because my job is also getting affected. I want to live seperate at another place with husband but it is also not possible because my husband is not agree. He is only son of his parents.I do not want divorce.
Kindly advise me what should I do now ?
