Legal Question in Family Law in India

sir, i got married with a person five years ago. that person lied to my parents abt his age and a little bit abt his family. he was much older than me. he was unemployed at the time of marriage and got his LLB degree from a university and with the help of my father he got registred himself in the Bar Council. both of us lived in my maternal home for approx 1 and 3/4 years. here he threatend my parents and me for many reasons. as girls parents they compromised everywhere whatever he wants. after 1 and 3/4 years i got govt accomodation as i m working in govt office. i shifted there. here my parents give all the household things to me. here he always threatend me not to talk with my parents, not to go anywhere. sometimes he and his father tried to attack on my dignity. he always abused me. one day he beat me badly and again threatend. and after that incident he left the dhome. this incident was happend approx 3 years ago.

now sir i want to know that am i got divocre easily? can i use my fathers name in my official documents as i m not legally separated? is he eligible to get share in my property or my earnings or any other assets? i do not earn much to hire an advocate. sir it is my humble request you to indly guide me without being partial of your freternity.

you may use your father's name in the records. You may also do nomination of a person of your choice in your bank, pf and other assets or accounts. In case of need of an advocate, you may approach legal aid office of your district and apply for free legal aid. no matter how much you earn, being a woman, you would be entitled to free legal aid from state authorities. then you may file for a divorce on the grounds of cruelty and desertion using the last known address.
