Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hello sir i have an question can i file an section 9 against my wife....she has filed already a case against me in her hometown for divorce from family court.and if yes should she also be travelling to to my home town for the case of section9 which i have filed against her.

you may file sec 9 but she need not travel all the way. She may move supreme court for transfer of case to her home town or she may engage a counsel to contest it at your home town. it is her prerogative
