Hello Sir, Last time also i was in contact of LAWGURU..Myself Reshma ,married women. i married on dec 2007 & frm nov2009 i m not living wth my husband bcoz he is harresting for Sex & many more..m living seperate frm last 15 mnths. few mnths back( in oct 2010) i was on job & my husband many time warn me to leave that job otherwise he will kill me...( that time i was nt living wd him)..atlast he made me JObless......after that i askd for divorce..he was ready for mutual divorse...but then i askd for my & my moms jewellery which is wd him..after that he is nt at all ready for mutual divorce..bcoz his bro-sis is suggesting him that ask reshma 1st to apply for divorce...i told...NO...i should I??? i told them.....1st giv me my jwellery...then i ready for divorce.....

even now i my working somewer...nw also he came thrice to my office place just to warn me...nt to work....so i infrm his bro-sis abt this...that ur bro(my husb) is harreting me in a road....then his bro-sis says....yes...he is u husnd...he hv a right to do that.....if u dnt want this....then ....write n giv us...that u r nt ready to stay wd husbd....so plssss

plss Sir suggest me what can i do....bcoz i m alone living wd my mom....pls suggest....me....

if nt getting what i hv written ...then pls let me knw..

Dear client

You have lots of options.Give a police complain or lodge an FIR THAT HE IS THREATENING TO KILL YOU. Secondly, you can also file a case under D.V.Act. Don't give divorce untill he returns your jewellery. Make a Memorandum of Understanding and file it with mutual divorce petition.Do you need more help?

you may file a complaint under domestic violence act and seek appropriate order viz. restraint order against husband from entering work place, residence, maintenance and compensation orders.
