hello sir my name is vikas it would be an great favour if u help me i have an question my wife has been away from me for nearly six months she is in her home town now she has filed an case from her home town i leave in south and she leaves in north..she has sent an legal notice for family court for divorce and dowry which is inappropriate..i know i need to go to her home town for the case which is not transferable to my place .but can i file any case against her where she also needs to travel to my hometown if yes can u plz suggest me and want for no way should be able to transfer the case to her place plz help me

before you file any case in the hometown, you need to defend yourself in north by hiring a lawyer. you need not travel to north as you can communicate with your lawyer through email. under what law you propose to file a case in south.
