can my husband serve me a notice of section 9 if i file a case of 498a?
can he remarry or go for live-in-relationship even if our case of 498a is pending
in the court?

No. As per Hindu Law, one cannot marry again without dissolution of first marriage.

He can serve notice u/s 9 and if you will not defend the case then it will be easy for him to get one sided divorce. Try to resolve the matter amicably. In section 9 case you can demand your security to accompany him.

he can serve you a notice u/s 9 of HMA for resitution of conjugal rights even though 498a is pending but he cannot marry. he may go for live in.
