Legal Question in Family Law in India

Sir

I booked 498A and DVC on my husband,parents and on his brothers.

But i am unable to produce the witnesses bcz they are warned by

my husband for that also no proof can i produce new witness

submitting affdivit. Pl. advise how to proceed.

sir if i fail to produce witnesses whose names mentioned in chargesheet.

Judge will cancel the case and release my husband and his family

without giving me and my son maintenance.

And any punishment to me?

Last question first : No, there will not be any punishment for you.

Secondly, your maintenance case is not dependent upon 498-A or DVC.

You may be entitled to maintenance for yourself and your son under H.A.M.A. or HMA in suitable proceedings.

You may bring whatever witnesses you may produce to testify your allegations.
