sir,i filed 498a on my husband n inlaws(march 2011) as they harassed me both physically n mentally..court proceedings were going on...i left the house on april 2010 later on for few months all his family members ,friends tried to convince them but my father in law n husband is very egoistic n short tempered recently i came to know that his friends(girls)who talked to me recorded my conversation with them...my husband told them abt me so badly which i cudnt tolerate so i got so wild n blamed him for that...does that recordings b any problem to me..it happened in the month of april(2010)...they r telling that we have recordings of me n black mailing. is it illegal to record as such n that is the case the girls can be made to appear on the court ah as it is a planned one.does the court consider the recordings as an important aspect?pls let me know...i filed i case on march2011 n know i wanted to file a maintainence cos iam dependent on him he gets 45000+ so how much percent will i get pls let me know

you may file a complaint u/s 125 of crpc to get maintenance and in case there are no children involved, you may get the maintenance to the tune of upto 10k, depending upon the judge and the defence of your husband.
