Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hello Sir,

I was married on 21st May, 2010. It was an arrange marriage, and since then due to some personal argument with wife at the first night of our marriage we were not physically involved with each other. She was with my family for 2 month as like "Seprated under one roof" and gone to her parents house. Her parents started mentally torchuring stating that you're not keeping our daughter happy, you have some sexually limitation thats why you're not involved in physical relation with my daughter and created lots of family issue within my family and since then creating lots of mental stress. I dont have any conversation with my wife since then and i don't want to.

We had meeting with my father-in-law and few withness/relatives from her side at my place and i finally decided to get sperated.

The're planning to have meeting to decide how to get seperate and dissolve this marriage in the community.

My wife was working prior to she got married and i am not sure whether she joined her office again or not.

Now my question is.

1 - Is mutual divorce with-in the community is acceptable by the law?

2 - Do i need to file a petition in the court for getting divorced?

3 - I am sure they are going to ask for lumb some amount for the sattlement?

4 - Legally do i need to pay maintenance to her? if yes then how much? and for how long do i need to pay her? - I am 30 yrs old and earing around 70-80 grand in hand per month.

Based on meeting between them their side and me i might hunt for professional assistance, but i want to know the answer of above question so i can opt for the further assistance based on the result of the meeting.

Thanks in advance.

mutual divorce has to be done through court of law. lump sum money should be decided before filing the petition and the terms of payment need to be decided. the permanent alimony should be decided mutually and as per the paying capacity of the boy.
