Hello Sir,

I came to know from my previous question that Alimony is not taxable. Then do I need to show the amount got in alimony in tax returns while filling my returns this year?

you need to show the amount and at the same time be prepared to answer any inquiry of tax authorities if the amount is very big. you need to prove them that the amount is paid towards alimony.
