Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hello sir.if dowry is given to boys parents in the form of cash.do girl need to provide any proof for that?but if she cannot provide it becoz it is given with belief on boys parents.then how can the wife get back that amount if she is seperated.what to tell in court when she fails to provide any proofs

cash cannot be proved. giving and taking dowry, both are illegal.
