Sir,
Is it mandatory to attach the Affidavit of wife while quashing an FIR u/s 498a / 406 /34 by mutual consent? Just by giving statement in HC would not be sufficient? Kindly guide?

in case it is a joint petition, it is mandatory of file the affidavit along with the petition, otherwise, she can give a statement in the court and she needs to file an affidavit only if the court directs.

Compromise deed is must else you have to appear in person.
