I'm mahalakshmi. I have a personal problem. I'm in situation whether to live or die. Please read the following and give me a resolution. I loved a person.. He is also very sincere with me. But this love matter is known to my lover's parents and they engaged a girl to him. So we both decided to do register marriage. But the girl who is engaged to my lover is very serious that she will marry only my lover though she know that my lover loves another girl(me). Moreover, his parents and the girl's parents legally took action by getting promissory note that he will marry only that girl. But he is not interested. They got a promissory note that my lover will marry only that girl and also written some non sense sentences and got sign from my lover. We don't know wat to do now. We are really scared about our future. Please advice me.. What should i do to get back my lover. and i should marry him. Please help me.... ASAP

if you both love each other and both want to marry and you are not brother and sister then no law in my knowledge can stop you from marrying each other.
the promissory note or deed or any document, against marriage, have no relevance in law and they are illegal.
go girl tell your man to behave like a man and in case there is a threat to life or something then immediately tell police or court and they will protect you.

Your problem is not legal. Mr. Gupta has rightly mentioned that such p/note are without force. They have no meaning when it comes to marriage. No marriage can be done under duress. He should talk it out with parents and fiance` that she may not live happily with him becomes he has interest in you. Why is she making three lives miserable? But no matter what, why are you thinking that it is life or death. fight with the circumstances and wriggle out yourself rather than thinking negative.
