Legal Question in Family Law in India

Sir,

My friend's family and her so-called husband's family are in talks for a mutual divorce. The so-called husband's family have agreed to return the cash that was given as gift to them before and at the time of wedding. But they have put condition that they will return after the divorce is granted. Since my friend's family does not at all trust these people because of those people treated my friend very badly for getting more money from her father. Money means everything to these greedy people. So my friend's family does not trust that they will return any money after divorce. So now the relatives of the so-called husband's family has suggested that a locker be taken in joint name of my friend and her so-called husband and the money be placed in that locker. after the divorce is granted after six months the so-called husband will go with my friend to the locker and give her the money. I donot understand much about the locker system or about the loop holes in this kind of arrangement. Please help me understand what loop hole could be possible so that the so-called husband does not return the money. The so called husband and his family are very very clever and their brain thinks of such things that normal people usually cant think. 'criminal minded' if i have to use one word!

the cash can be converted into a pay order and the same can be deposited with the court at the time of recording of second motion as the pay order is valid for 3 months only. it cannot be deposited at the first motion.
