Legal Question in Family Law in
Sir,
My parents expired when I was 13 years old and the court appointed my uncle as my legal gaurdian at that time. The death benefit amounts claimed during that time was claimed by my uncle and deposited in the court. He was supposed to take the interest from the amount deposited and use that for maintaining me.Now I'am a major and want to know how much amount was deposited and how much was spent and details of the account. But there is no proper response from uncle's side or his lawyer.whom should I contact to get these details. The most important thing is I really have good relation with my uncle and does not want to affect our relation because of this.If he has spent all the money, then its fine. Its just that I want to know the truth.I will really appreciate any help on this.

as you trust uncle, you may simply ask your uncle. in case his acts are bonafide, he would disclose everything.
The principal amount deposited in the court can be got released from the court by filling an application, the interest part taken by your uncle is for you hence, if you find any malafide than only claim interest therwise ask for principal amount from the court.
your uncle was supposed to be filing return every six months before the court after appointment as a guardian. If you want you may check with the court
