Legal Question in Family Law in India
My sister in law has submitted criminal, maintanence and divorce case against my brother. She has included me, my mother and my aunt in dowry harrasment case. We are innocent. We dint stay with them after their marriage.
She demanded out of court settlement first and now when we have agreed she is saying that she will not allow us to stay happily and she will continue the case.
My brother is unemployed now because of these matters and we have to keep attending the case. My father is sick, he had a head injury and operated.
Please suggest me how we can appeal to court and prove ourself innocent. Since she has done all this to our family we dont want to give any maintance also. But since my brother has a kid he can afford to give.
How do we go about this issue.

you may approach the high court for quashing the f.i.r against you on the ground that you never stayed with her. you need a good lawyer to fight for you and take your family out of this mess. you need not be afraid of false cases.
