Legal Question in Family Law in India
My sister is living with her husband and father in law. She is married in the year 1990 and have two children. Both, her husband and father in law are mentally ill and unable to take care of themselves. Earlier, both had been admitted to mental hospital for treatment, but still their mental position are same. Now, my sister wants to acquire movable and immovable properties owned by her husband and father in law. How this can be done?

Who all are the legal heirs of your Husband and father in law ? Is your mother in law there ? Does your husband has siblings ? What about your children ? Please inform to get legal opinion.
unless she has sufficient documents to prove that her father in law and husband are insane/unsound mind and there is no other legal heir apart from her and the children, the succession is not recommended.
