Yes.If the son does not support aged parents,the parents can seek maintainace by invoking Section 125 of Code of Criminal Procedure.

It is mandatory only if the parents are unable to maintain themself.

in response to your query it is stated that it is not only hindu son but in all cases if the parents are unable to maintain themselfs within their available means then they have right provided u/s 125 cr.p.c to claim maintenance from teir son also.
