Re: my son's share in my fathers property

You may have no share in your father's personal property acquired by him.

However, if your father has any property in his hand which he inherited from his father or fore-fathers, you will be entitled to a share as a co-parcener.

A Hindu son acquires rights in his ancestral property from the date he is conceived i.e. effective nine months prior to birth.

You may provide details of property owned by him for further guidance, if required.

Re: my son's share in my fathers property

Your father has a legal right to dispose his self acquired property in the manner he desires. He may do so during his life time or making a provision in his will. In case of his self acquired property you have no control neither for yourself nor for your son.
