Legal Question in Family Law in India

Stating wrong fact before court

Sir,

Kindly guide me in my case as given below:-

Wife filed petition for maintenance of amount Rs. 5000 per month under section 24 in reply to my RCR case by stating that ''she is not working anywhere and had no source of income and is at the mercy of her parents.''

I had no. of proofs of her working (including copy of salary slip from her employer) and she herself stated in another petition that she is govt. contractual employee. She is still working at that job and earning Rs.10000/- per month. What should I do ?

(i) I should only defend myself in this case by attaching all those proofs or I should also make an attack by filing the case under section 182 or 199 or 200 or any other sections against her for stating wrong facts (knowingly) before court. 498A proceedings are also going on separately against me & my family members in separate court.

Thanks,

Regards,

Deepak

You may file your defence based upon the documents available with you. The 'offence' being considered may not work in your favour.
