what would be the marital status of a person once if he gets divorced. If the option of seperated or divorced is not given in any form, then will the status be married/unmarried. And what would be the status if the person is only seperated from spouse and not divorced

Re: status
The status remains that of a divorcee. If the separation is by a court order, one may be 'separated'.
Re: status
he becomes a divorcee till divorce is granted he status is married
Re: status
in case the divorce is not granted, the person would be married even though staying separately. in case the divorce is granted, only then the status changes to divorcee.
Re: status
1.Divorcee
2.Married in the column, can be said as married but divorced.
