Stay clarification

My wife file a DVC Case in my family members. for that my lawyer applied petion for stay to my family member(expect me) in highcourt.Can you please let me know what is the normal fees for applaying stay in hight court for each persion.

The lawyer's fee depends upon the place and the standing of the Advocate.

There is a wide range of lawyers and accordingly their fee varies. The lawyers fee is not subject to or controlled by any law in India.

Normally, depending upon standing of the lawyer, the fee for conducting a case in the high court may vary from Rupees Five thousand to upwards of Rupees Five Lacs.

It depends from lawyer to lawyer, case to case, standing of lawyer, the work involved. There is nothing like normal or regular or prescribed fee.
