i got the stay order from high court which is copied to SHO and the lawyer who has filed for the stay order but it is not copied to the magistrate of the court in which the case is registered. the stay status is still pending. the SHO is calling me and telling that arrest warrant has been issued.
can the police arrest me when the stay is still pending and also the high court has copied the stay order to the Station head.
if i have to file a petition in the local court how should i proceed without any lawyer or attorney.please suggest me what to do.everyone is frightening me about arrest.i approached many lawyers but every one is telling differently.some are asking me to prepare for arrest, some are telling that when the court has not sent any notice nothing will happen.i am confused how to proceed. i want to file a petition in the local court and intimate the court that i got a stay order from high court so that they can stop the arrest warrant. please let me know if my understanding is correct w.r.t filing a petition and also tell me which form i have to use to file petition. the case was booked u/s 417 IPC. looking ahhead for your valuable suggestion. because of all this i am unable to do anything.

Your remedy can be ascertained only after reading your entire case file. If your arrest has been stayed and the order has been copied to the SHO, he cannot arrest you.
contact a local lawyer with full details of your case.
apply for a certified copy of stay order and pass on to the SHO.
