Legal Question in Family Law in India

How do I stop my husband taking divorce in foreign country, he is citizen of that country but marriage was registered in india. Pls guide.

You dont have to worry as you were married in India . Even if he gets a decree of divorce in a foreign country that would become a void Decree . Please check answers in the category of family divorce etc. in my profile on this forum as i have dealt with this problem of Divorce etc in detail.

you cannot stop him unless you represent your case there in that country. in whichever country, divorce is pronounced, the same would be valid in that country but in india that decree is considered void unless it satisfy the law more specifically sec. 13 of civil procedure code.
