Strong advise needed on 498a

After the first petition of divorce which clear and allowed in the presence of judge can a lady file 498a agains, she is not willing to sign on the 2nd pettion of divorce

there is no FIRST Petition OR second petition.

Please state your facts clearly.

498-A can always be invoked by a wife against her husband and in-laws for offences of cruelty committed by them until marriage is dissolved.

If you are talking of a mutual divorce petition, yes, the consent can be withdrawn by the wife before divorce is granted finally.
