A succession certificate produced by the proported wife (No.1) without impleading other two proported wives and their children can be accepted? The Department has written a letter to other two wives also for production of succession certificates to claims the debts and securities of their husband. However, they did not produced the said certificate but have submitted an affidavit sworn before the Magistrate First Class to the effect that they do not have any objection if the debts and securities is paid to wife No.1. But the signature of the wifes (deponents) on the said two affidavits are not tally with that of the signatures of the said wives already on record. So your advise on the issue is highly solicited.
